Biography:

Munshi Mahbubur Rahman is presently serving as Faculty Member, Military Institute of Science and Technology(MIST), Naval Academy Campus, Chittagong, Bangladesh; at the same time he is looking after the duties of General Manager (Planning), in Bangladesh Navy Dockyard, Chittagong. He has served in various positions at the department and faculty level of Military Institute of Science and Technology  including Head of the EEE department and Dean, in the faculty of ECE from March 2006 – November 2013. He was a Visiting Faculty at Daffodil University and Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), Dhaka for different period of time. And also did some consultancy for Electrical Safety in EPZ Dhaka, BPDB & Power Cell project. He received the B.Sc.  and M.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from BUET, Bangladesh, in 1992 and 2008, respectively. In 2015, he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Electric & Electronic Communication Engineering from BUET His research interests include Powerline Communication, Broadband Communication, Power System Analysis, Power Generation & Distribution and Green Power.
